Rigger / Industrial Relocation Specialist (Driver's License C – CE)
Your responsibilities
Industrial relocation is a very broad concept, which translates into a huge diversity of tasks. One day you might be assembling a production line in a pharmaceutical company under near-sterile conditions, while the next day you could be hoisting heavy components in a steel mill.
The Rigger / Industrial Relocation Specialist is an expert in moving and hoisting heavy or complex objects, and is highly skilled in operating forklifts, pick & carry cranes, aerial work platforms, gantry systems, hand tools, and more. You will also drive the truck to transport all of these machines to the job site. You will almost always work as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely; therefore, a healthy team spirit is absolutely essential. You are not afraid to critically assess the work to be carried out, and you complete tasks in close consultation with your colleagues and the office staff.
And you do all of this without ever losing sight of safety or underestimating potential risks.
Who are we looking for?
- You don't mind working overtime to get a job done, and you maintain a flexible attitude toward weekend work.
- You hold at least a secondary school diploma, preferably in a technical field.
- Experience as an industrial relocation specialist, rigger, or in a similar technical role
- Technical insight and knowledge of hand tools, hoisting equipment, and lifting gear,
- You hold a basic VCA safety certificate (VCA-Basisveiligheid).
- You hold a forklift certificate (IS-001).
- You hold at least a category B driver's license (a category C or CE license is a major plus!)
- Flexible, stress-resistant, customer-oriented, and always prioritizing safety.
- Willing to work at various locations, including international travel.
