Electrician - Industrial Relocation
Your responsibilities
Industrial relocation is a very broad concept, which translates into a huge diversity of tasks. One day you might be assembling a production line in a pharmaceutical company under near-sterile conditions, while the next day you could be hoisting heavy components in a steel mill.
The Industrial Relocation Electrician is the specialist who takes full responsibility for the electrical component of larger projects. Accurately marking and registering how a line or machine is connected, and then completely disconnecting it. After the line or machine has been relocated, everything must be rebuilt in the exact same way. Afterwards, everything needs to be tested and any potential faults must be troubleshot. You are not afraid to critically assess the work to be carried out, and you complete tasks in close consultation with your colleagues and the office staff.
And you do all of this without ever losing sight of safety or underestimating potential risks.
Who are we looking for?
- You hold a higher degree in industrial electricity and have several years of experience.
- Knowledge of PLC control systems is definitely a plus.
- You don't mind working overtime to get a job done, and you maintain a flexible attitude toward weekend work.
- You are also willing to assist colleagues with other relocation activities.
- Technical insight and knowledge of hand tools
- You hold a basic VCA safety certificate (VCA-Basisveiligheid).
- A forklift certificate (IS-001) is a plus.
- If you hold an aerial work platform certificate (IS-005), that is also a plus.
- You hold at least a valid Category B driver's license.
- Flexible, stress-resistant, customer-oriented, and always prioritizing safety.
- Willing to work at various locations, including international travel.
