Industrial Rigging & Assembly Technician

Your responsibilities

Industrial relocation is a very broad concept, and this is reflected in an enormous diversity of work. One day, you may be building a production line in a pharmaceutical company under near-sterile conditions; the next, you may be lifting heavy components in a steel plant.

As an Industrial Rigging & Assembly Technician, you are the specialist who performs measurements and takes notes on how a production line is configured before or after its relocation, in order to subsequently disassemble it. Once the machinery and heavy components have been moved, you ensure proper positioning, alignment, leveling, etc., and reassemble everything. You work closely with the rest of the team, including the riggers and electricians. Therefore, a healthy team spirit is absolutely essential. You are not afraid to critically assess the work to be carried out, and you complete tasks in close consultation with your colleagues and the office staff.

And you do all of this without ever losing sight of safety or underestimating potential risks.

Your profile

    • You hold a degree in mechanics and have extensive experience in the operation and construction of industrial machinery.
    • You are also well-versed in hydraulics and pneumatics, and have extensive experience working with a wide range of tools.
    • You don’t mind working overtime to get the job done, and you are flexible when it comes to weekend shifts or working abroad.
    • Experience with rigging and lifting equipment is a major plus.
    • You hold a basic VCA safety certificate (VCA-Basisveiligheid).
    • Holding a forklift certificate (IS-001) and an aerial work platform certificate (IS-005) is a plus.
    • You hold at least a category B driver's license (category C or CE is a major plus!).
    • Flexible, stress-resistant, customer-oriented, and always prioritizing safety.
    • Willing to work at various locations, including international travel.

What do we offer?

    • A challenging and varied role within a dynamic work environment.
    • A competitive salary and excellent employment conditions.
    • Comprehensive training programs (e.g., VCA, forklift, crane, category C or CE driver's license, etc.).
    • A close-knit team with experienced and great colleagues.
    • Opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company.
    • Guidance and support.
